Hello Community Users, Any users who find a similar issue with the reconnection of Revolut showing in the wrong currency we just wanted to advice to check multi currency in Quickbooks settings and check if that is on or off and once amended trying another disconnect and reconnect of the bank connection this is what resolved the issue for the user who posted on this thread.
Any questions at all please feel free to reply to the thread.
Thanks for reaching out @maxbeckett.
I'd like to redirect you to our Customer Care Support team so this gets addressed right away. This way, a representative can review you're having some sort of currency issue with your Revolut account and investigate this further.
Here's how:
These instructions are also available from our guide on contacting QuickBooks Online support for your convenience.
If you're still getting the same issue, you can manually upload your transactions into QuickBooks Online using a CSV file to make sure your transactions are up-to-date.
Don't hesitate to visit the Community and post a question if you need anything else. We're always here to make sure it's taken care of.
Just to clarify one thing. Is your company registered in the UK or another country?
The UK
I noticed in earlier posts there were a few issues on non UK Revolut accounts to integrate with QBO UK since the beginning of this year due to Brexit. If you deal with multi currency transactions, consider having a similar app (e.g Wise).
It used to be fine, it changed on the last upload link. Quick books make it impossible to talk to anyone. Its really frustrating as their chat is not working and the talk to a human is only offered now and again and its always a call back that when it comes if you miss it you are right back to square one - they don't call back again....really frustrating
Hello Max, When you mention the last upload link, do you mean the last time you updated the bank account or have you updated the computer and since then this has happened? Can we ask you to clear the cache and cookies in the browser with the date range all time, close and re-open the browser and then update , if the same thing occurs can we ask you to go to chart of accounts and the drop down by account history on the bank account and select edit and then disconnect account on save>save and then re-add in banking the account. Let us know how you get on.
I spent 1 hour on a call with technical support - deleted the account / reconnected it / cleaned cookies and caches /etc....
What I discovered is QB only works on Chrome - so that solved the issues on it being slow, clunky and unusable on firefox....
Now with the bigger issue - QB help in USA as it is a $ issue finally declared it is a problem with Revolut and I have to have them solve it - that is ridiculous. QB connect to Revolut with an app you designed with them and pull the information from them - so if you translate it incorrectly that is an issue your end, or Revoluts and the change I will via customer support ever get to someone at that end of the technical chain is impossible and I will get nowhere. As such it is an issue you need to internally take up with Revolut and solve behind the scenes with the team that manage the data imports and not ask your customers to run around like headless sheep. I have spent hours the last 2 days trying to solve this. Revolut have told me and shown me the data they have is fine - when you connect it then changes on your end - not just the $ to £ now but also the category/matches.......now it used to work, it now does not........can someone at Quickbooks call Revolut and take a look as I am now out of ideas....
So Revolut solved for me - it seems my quickbooks multicurrency account set-up was turned off somehow - unsure how - and that changed the $ account to £. To correct that I had to delete the dollar account and all the transactions and reconnect it after turning on the multicurrency option which is hours of work to correct......Revolut figured that out as quickbooks had closed down the issue as solved! I am really totally unimpressed with the Intuit helpdesk set-up.....

I have a new Revolut account with GBP and USD accounts and it's importing into QB as USD - both of them. Multicurrency is on and has been working for 2 years with Wise but I moved to Revolut and now I can't get my GBP to be GBP! I reached out to Revolut - they said make sure multicurrency is on in QBO (and it is) and then said I have to talk to QBO. I have done a disconnect and then re-added but there is no place to select currency when you reconnect, and it drops in as USD. If you go to Chart of Accounts to change the currency it won't save. What do I do?
Also - weirdly - in Manage Connections it shows as GBP balance, but not in the account itself so conversions from USD to GBP aren't working correctly.
Hi laura-louthan, thanks for joining this thread. Each account in QuickBooks Online can only support a single currency - do you have two separate accounts in your chart of accounts for Revolut (one in GBP and one in USD)?
