My client (in the UK) is using Quickbooks Desktop (UK Version) on his PC.
I downloaded Quickbooks Desktop (UK Version) on my PC (In the UAE) and would like to set it up.
The application is asking for the License Number and the Product Number.
I need assistance on how to set it up on my PC -
•the process of how to do it
•the limitations
•can Quickbooks Desktop be used only on a single PC?
•is it required to surrender the license to use it on my PC?

You can use the trial version for good if required
The client is using Quickbooks Desktop (UK Version) 2021.
I reckon using the trial version would have restricted features and would not help.
Also, the application doesn't even move forward without entering the Product and License number [screenshot attached] for your perusal.

You need the license to proceed. You can try using the trial version as mentioned before. What restriction do you mean?

I am his new Accountant and the client himself does not know anything about Quickbooks Desktop.
So, that is why I am taking care of his accounting and would require help in setting up the Quickbooks Desktop.

If your client can't be bothered to run QB Desktop on his own machine, I guess you can use his license with his consent for sure. Make sure to ask him to uninstall it first. You will also need to have him call Intuit Support in UK and have them provide the activation code. You may need it when installing his license on your machine.
If they refuse to provide the activation code, you can use the trial version as the last resort.

The client has asked me to set up Quickbooks Desktop on my PC and he has shared the financials in Excel.
So, I suppose I have to set it up as a new company on my PC as I cannot link the entity on his PC, right?
If your client doesn't mind letting you use their license, why would they bother exporting their financial data to Excel? They just need to create and send you a backup file (*.qbb). You will restore the backup file on your machine.
