Hello!
In need of some help regarding, Registration.
I have recently installed Quickbooks Pro 2010 desktop version, which my Dad had used for his business quite some years ago, however never really set it up correctly.
I run my own business now and would like to use the desktop version with at least 2 users.
I am currently learning the package, I do like it and would like to use it, but I am not the least bit interested in subscribing to be online, when I have a fully paid for package.
Currently my main issue is, registering it and getting an activation code from Quickbooks.
I am just trying to find out if there is a work around this registration/activation code.
Many thanks in advance!
Thank you for reaching out regarding your QuickBooks Pro 2010 desktop installation, Boogie9058.
I understand your concerns about the registration and activation process, as well as your preference for using the desktop version.
Please note that QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) is primarily designed for the US and Canadian markets and isn't available or supported in the UK. To meet UK tax requirements, Intuit offers QuickBooks Online (QBO) only to UK-based customers.
Due to this reason, we're unable to register or provide an activation code for QuickBooks Desktop products in the UK region.
Alternatively, you'll want to consider our QuickBooks Online versions by visiting this page: QuickBooks Online Plans and Pricing.
I’ll be here to help with subscription or any other QuickBooks-related concerns you may have. Wishing you a smooth day ahead, Boogie9058.
If you don't need to comply with MTD requirements, you can use the trial version for 2010 as a workaround.
So what you are saying is, Quickbooks sold me a product that is no longer fit for purpose?
How would this give me incentive to spend more money purchasing your online version?
How long before that would become obsolete?
You sold me a product that is no longer fit for purpose...
I am not VAT registered, I just need something to do my books.
Graphical representation of how my company is doing, and also something to log my stock onto.
Is the trial on a limited timescale? Would I have then at some point purchase the online versions?
Thank you for your help!
You can use the trial version for the time being until you are ready switching to QB Online later. You should contact @Fiat Lux - ASIA directly via email for details.
