So I set up an account in QB and its the UK which is incorrect. I need to set up a Jersey one and I have spent a lot of time trying to get this sorted and no one in QB seems to be able to help. They say that you can just do it on line. I would like to talk to a human to help me. Every time I put the Jersey address in it redirects me to UK. Is there anyone out there that can help with this as the QB team don't seem to know how to do it and its so frustrating. Thank you in advance.

Hi CTM Builders, thanks for your interest in QuickBooks. The UK product is restricted to UK billing addresses which can cause issues for customers when attempting to subscribe or resubscribe. We don't currently offer regional products for the Crown Dependencies, however, this is something that we're looking to support in the future. 🙇:female_sign:
Thank you for your message, but now I have been informed that you do offer QB for Jersey Business, as I have just had a email to say that QB Global support Jersey. Unless I have been given the wrong information. I am just waiting for them to contact me to change my account. I will let you know if this happens as it will be a lot easier for the company going froward with the GST.

QB Global is non-specialized meaning any tax agencies would need to be created in-product and when attempting to subscribe, you'll usually see that you're re-directed to the UK product. Due to this, we may not be the best fit for your business at the moment, as we continue work towards a solution for Jersey/Guernsey/Channel Islands based-customers.

I have been a QB user since 2012 using the disc version on the PC and never had an issue with the tax side and managed to show GST on the invoices. It's only since I changed to an online account that it became a issue.
I only did this because QB was not compatible with a Mac.
If it ever gets sorted please let me be the first to know. As at the moment it just feels like I am going around in circles. Thanks for your help

Hello CTM Builders. I’m wondering if your issue was resolved? I’m experiencing the same issue, but at the moment I’m being told I have to completely delete my account and set up a new global profile. I’m hesitant to this and lose my data, as currently the global site will not allow me to proceed at all with being Offshore. Thanks

No don't do that as it's a nightmare. You will have to stay UK at the moment as QB do not have the facilities for crown dependencies.
The GST you can only do as VAT with 5%.. You can make the ledgers and just put the a note on the invoices that GST is VAT. If you know what I mean. I have logged it with QB and they are looking into it, but the more people who log it in there feedback on line. Then the more we have a chance of getting it fixed and being independent as soon as possible. Good Luck and if you need help let me know.. Many thanks Julie
Hi - I am in Guernsey. I have used desktop for many years. It has now given up the ghost completely. I can't even get as far as paying for an online version as I am stuck on the pay page. It won't accept my address and wants an English county. Can any Channel Islanders help with this please?

According to my colleague Georgia, we currently do not offer regional products to customers based in Crown Dependencies, such as Jersey, Guernsey, and the Channel Islands.
Although we may not be the best fit for your business now, we plan to support you in the future.
We hope that you can find a viable solution for your business in the meantime. Keep safe.
I would recommend to keep using QB Desktop.
