£ symbol not displaying - Desktop version

Hello!

When I type the £ sign on reports, or within a body on an invoice, it puts another symbol in front of it.

Have attached screen dumps to help explain.

Any ideas why this might be happening please?

Thank you

Sandra (Sarnie)

Hello SSpocchia, Is the desktop installed on the pc or via a networked server? If it is just on your pc if we can ask you to uninstall and reinstall it and let us know if it still does the same thing. Thanks.

Hello SSpocchia, Welcome to the Community! Thank you for the screenshots regarding the additional symbol showing when you save the invoice text. Can we check are you using the UK version and the customer in GBP? Has this happened just now or has this been ongoing?

Hi Emma

Thanks for your speedy reply.  As far as I know I am.  I've used desktop since I started here 4 years ago, and this started happening a few months ago.  Definitely set up to invoice in GBP and my PC settings are UK as well.

Kind regards

I think you've hit the nail on the head. I think this might have started after we moved the database to a new server. I'll ask my IT department to look into it.

Thank you very much!
