Hi @Mike Arbont,
I'd suggest for you to check for any error messages that you see when you access the Transactions page.
If there's none, let's go through these steps:
In case you're getting any message about Open Banking, take a look at this article: Open Banking FAQ.
I'll be around in case you have other questions. Post them below, and I'll get back to you.
This has now been sorted. My son (who also used Quicbooks for his business) checked my account for me. On first of January i had reason to change my password and memorable information with my bank and had not updated that information with Quickbooks. Thanks for your help.

I have the same problem. QB will not download transactions from HAndelsbankemn. How did you get it to work again...? I have called "support" several times and they are USELESS...?!
I have now tried clearing the cache, and also tried logging in on TWO other browsers ... Chrome, Safari and Firefox now... Nothing works.... it simply will not download transactions, even though it clearly connects as I have to enter responses from my Keypad.
Every time I call "support" the girl says they are "working on it as fast as they can" ... Well, they have been "working " at it for six weeks now ... and nothing has happened...
I have checked with Handelsbanken, and they assure me that there is no error at their end.
Just wondering how long I leave it before using a different accounting package which actually works.

Hi ian19,
We want to ensure that you'll be able to download transactions from HAndelsbankemn bank.
We receive a report about QuickBooks not being able to update the Handelsbanken Banking account. This issue is caused by layout changes at the bank's end which requires a complex fix. This is treated with the highest priority. Our engineers are assisting the banking engineers to fix this as soon as possible.
In the meantime, you can upload a CSV file to your QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) to add transactions that are older than those previously downloaded. Here's an article for the detailed steps: Add Older Transactions to QuickBooks Self-Employed.
Also, I suggest contacting our support team so they can add you to the affected list of users.
You can always drop by here in the Community if you have any other concerns. I'd be glad to help you.
Yes indeed, but this problem has been present for over SIX WEEKS now, and clearly very little, if anything, is being done about it... If QB Cannot accomodate Handelsbanken, we will have to look for a different accounting package which can...
.....How much longer do we give it before giving up on you?
Hi ian19
We appreciate your frustrations and apologise for any inconvenience this may be causing you. We are unable to provide you with a specific date for when the issue will be resolved however we can assure you that our engineers are working to resolve the issue. In the mean time you are able to add the transactions manually or by a CSV upload.
Yes, I have been doing this already now for some weeks.
I suspect that once normal service is resumed (will it ever..?) All these manually entered transactionsd wil be downloaded and duplicated, involving more work to remove them, or the manual duplicates.
How can this be managed most effectively..?
Thanks for following on this thread, @ian19.
To keep your records in tip-top shape order, you can use the Exclude feature to remove duplicate entries. I can help show the process.
Here’s how:
If you’re accessing QBSE using the browser or a mobile, here’s an article with detailed instructions on how to manage identical downloaded data: Exclude.
Stay in touch if you have any other concerns or QuickBooks related questions. I’ll get back to help and make sure you’re taken care of. Have a good one.
Sorry Ian have been without internet for a few days so have just seen your message,
my problem was because i had changed my password and memorable information to log onto my bank account but had not updated the info in quick books settings. My son sorted it out for me in the end. Such a simple solution was supprised i was not asked that question.
hope this helps you
regards Helen
Yes, well we haven't changed anything... was yours Handelsbanken as well ...|? Business or Personal...? the business account has a keypad, so no online passwords at all anyway...
Justy hoping they fix it before Christmas ... Maybe Christmas 2021..?!
