Hello there,
I am both employed and self-employed. I filled in the Tax profile page with my estimated employed income and I have a positive self-employed income since June last year. The estimated Income Tax has always been 0GBP including Class 4 & Class 2 National Insurance Contribution - this can't be right. Can anyone help, please?
Hi pcpatrick,
Does this help at all?
Basically you need to make sure your employed income isn’t being added to your self-employed income.
You can add/set up your employed income under your tax profile which helps determine what tax bracket do you belong.
Unfortunately it didn't help as I already added the employment income. I tried to remove it but it didn't make a difference.
Thanks for getting back to us, pcpatrick.
I suggest reaching out to our QuickBooks Self-Employed support. They have the tools to pull up your account better checked on why you have 0 income tax.
Here's how to contact them:
I also encourage checking out this article for more information about QBSE: QuickBooks Self-Employed Overview.
