The reason why you're unable to access previously sent invoices is that they cannot be transferred from QuickBooks Self-Employed to QuickBooks Sole Trader, @benking220. Let me elaborate on this further.

We can automatically switch your subscription and most of your data to QuickBooks Sole Trader so you can continue to run your business as usual. However, some data cannot be transferred.

For data that can automatically migrate when you switch to QuickBooks Sole Trader, you may scan through the list below:

  • Customers
  • Trips
  • Products and Services
  • Bank Connections
  • Transactions (records from 01/01/2023)
  • Receipts (records from 01/01/2023)

On the other hand, these are the data that can't be switched over:

  • Invoices
  • Third-party app integration,
  • Tags
  • Supplier

Please see this article for more details: Switch from QuickBooks Self-Employed to QuickBooks Sole Trader.

You can learn more about the transition by reading the Introduction to QuickBooks Sole Trader article, which details the differences between the two platforms and how QuickBooks Sole Trader is tailored for one-person businesses like yours.

You're always welcome to comment if you have any follow-up questions regarding accessing your QuickBooks Sole Trader. I'd be glad to answer them for you. Have a good one.
