Settings > Sales > Invoice Payments - loading icon

I'm having trouble accessing the invoice payment settings as the loading indicator just keeps spinning. I have cleared the cache and attempted again however no luck.

Let's work together to figure out why you're having issues accessing the Invoice payments setting and fix it to keep you going with your task, Faber.

 

We expect the most-used pages in QuickBooks Online (QBO) to load in 10 seconds. To ensure you're getting the most out of your experience with the system, we need to check the following:

 

  • Are you using Google Chrome? Intuit recommends Chrome to get the best experience possible. If you are already using Chrome, ensure you are using the latest release by going to the Chrome menu and selecting Help, then About Google Chrome.
  • Ensure your operating system is updated and you meet or exceed the System Requirements for QuickBooks Online.
  • Verify your internet speed (bandwidth) is not limiting your QuickBooks Online experience. Run a Google Speed Test to confirm.

Moreover, if the access issue continues, you can opt to use other supported browsers. If this still persists, please reach out to our Customer Care team to report the matter.

I appreciate your prompt response and for providing some more information, Faber. Allow me to assist you further and provide some information so this can be better isolated.

 

Upon checking here, we've received similar reports about the Invoice payment option on the Accounts and settings in QuickBooks Online, unable to load and keeps on spinning. Please know that it has been escalated to our technical team for further analysis and they've created an investigation, dedicating their full efforts to find a permanent fix. 

 

That being said, I'd recommend getting in touch with our Technical Support Team so you'll be added to the list of affected users and be on the priority list to receive emails about the progress of this investigation. 

 

Here's how you can get in touch with them:

 

  1. Go to the Help icon and select Contact us in the Search tab.
  2. From the What can we help you with field, enter your question.
  3. Click on Continue.
  4. Choose either Appointment, Callback, or Chat.

 

Once an update is available, it will be rolled out to you immediately through email.

 

In the meantime, you can consider utilizing the documented workaround of this investigation which is to receive manual payment from customers via bank transfer, Paypal, or Go Cardless as normal. The Invoice payment section in this case is simply a text box and does not provide any payment options. It serves as a space for you to indicate where you would like the payments to be received.
