I'm having trouble accessing the invoice payment settings as the loading indicator just keeps spinning. I have cleared the cache and attempted again however no luck.

Upon checking here, we've received similar reports about the Invoice payment option on the Accounts and settings in QuickBooks Online, unable to load and keeps on spinning. Please know that it has been escalated to our technical team for further analysis and they've created an investigation, dedicating their full efforts to find a permanent fix.
That being said, I'd recommend getting in touch with our Technical Support Team so you'll be added to the list of affected users and be on the priority list to receive emails about the progress of this investigation.

In the meantime, you can consider utilizing the documented workaround of this investigation which is to receive manual payment from customers via bank transfer, Paypal, or Go Cardless as normal. The Invoice payment section in this case is simply a text box and does not provide any payment options. It serves as a space for you to indicate where you would like the payments to be received.
