Is QuickBooks down today? I've cleared the browser cache but I'm just getting the green circles animation and nothing else!

Hi Richard, all QuickBooks System is working at present. However, let me help you resolve this issue in accessing QuickBooks and getting you back on track with your tasks.

First off, I appreciate you for taking those initial steps to troubleshoot. You can visit our website to ensure there’s no outage affecting QuickBooks Online in your area: QuickBooks Status Page. This page offers real-time updates on any service disruptions.

It's also important to ensure you’re using one of the supported, up-to-date browsers like Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, or Safari. Here’s a useful Community article on System requirements for QuickBooks Online products.

If you’re still seeing those green circles, you can contact our support team for further assistance. They can securely access your account and, if necessary, open an investigation. Visit the QuickBooks Support Page for more contact options.

Feel free to comment back if you have more queries or need additional assistance. I’m more than happy to help you in getting QuickBooks running smoothly again. Take care.

It's working in Firefox Private Mode but not in a normal browser window. How do I get it working again normally?

Hi richard96, thanks for checking that. In cases where performance is only impacted on the normal browser mode, this usually indicates that the issue is due to the cache or cookies.

Like most sites, we use your browsers cache and cookies to run faster, but sometimes these can also block web pages from loading.

To fix, begin by clearing the cache for your Firefox browser (here's how). After clearing cache, make sure to restart your browser for the changes to take effect.

if you keep having the same problem after doing that, you can clear Intuit-specific cookies. This helps refresh website preferences that might be causing problems when you use QuickBooks. On Firefox:

1. At the top right, select the 3-bar menu ☰ icon.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select Privacy & Security.
4. Select Manage Data under Cookies and Site Data.
5. Type 'intuit' in the search bar and select Enter to find Intuit cookies.
6. Select Remove All Shown.
7. Select Save Changes.
8. Restart Mozilla Firefox for the changes to take effect.

Thanks for reaching Intuit support. We'll be here if you need any further assistance.

OK, but removing all cookies is a very destructive option. You lose all your customised settings across every client. All their dashboards get reset to the default view. All the transaction registers get reset to the default view. Every client's HMRC credentials have to be manually re-entered before you can submit EPS/FPS for their next payroll. It's massively time-consuming and there has to be a better option!
