Hi, JLKel.
I'm here to share information about converting or copying estimates to purchase orders (PO) in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
After saving an estimate in QBO, you will see a dropdown menu next to the amount, offering the choice to Create invoice or Copy to purchase order. Simply select the Copy to purchase order option.
If you don't see certain items copied over to the PO, it's important to note that only items marked as purchased from suppliers will be copied over. Please ensure that your products or services are appropriately marked to ensure they are included in the PO.
Here's how:
- In QBO, go to Settings ⚙, then select Products & services.
- Locate the product or service. Then click Edit.
- In the Purchasing information section, select the I purchase this product/service from a supplier checkbox.
- Hit Save and close.

Also, you can utilize the Custom Fields feature to add fields to your PO and other sales forms in QBO. For detailed steps on how to set it up, please refer to this article: Add custom fields to sales forms and purchase orders in QuickBooks Online.
