Was using QuickBooks almost at the end of year accounts deadline and all of a sudden:

@we couldn't connect to your bank. Try again later, or use the Help window to contact us.

Try opening your QBO account on any private/incognito browser.

I want to ensure that you can connect your bank with QuickBooks, @info-thezoverinc.

May I know what financial institution are you using? This way, with my expertise, I can assure you that I'll exhaust my resources to provide appropriate solutions.

As mentioned by Fiat Lux - ASIA, we can try accessing your account using a different or private browser. There are times when the browser is full of frequently accessed page resources, which causes some errors or unusual responses. You can use either of these shortcut keys:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

Once you have successfully connected your bank to QuickBooks, go back to your regular browser and clear its cache. This is done to speed up the process the next time you do a transaction in QuickBooks Online. Also, an alternative way is to use other compatible browsers.

I also recommend reviewing messages on your bank or credit card's website. This way, you can verify if certain actions need to be performed.

In the meantime, you may consider uploading your transaction manually to your QBO account. You can read this article for more details: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.

Once your bank account is connected, you can start reviewing downloaded bank and credit card transactions to ensure your financial records are correct. For more guidance, feel free to check out this article for future reference: Categorise and match online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.

Feel free to comment below if you have further questions about connecting your bank to QuickBooks Online. I'll make sure to get back to you as soon as I can. Stay safe!
