When editing an invoice customer on the mobile app instead of deleting the name it replaces the same name with three entries.

Hello, Xmrbob1. Let's troubleshoot the QuickBooks Online app issue you encounter.

Before we proceed, please check that your app is running the latest version. Outdated software can sometimes cause technical issues.

If you’re already using the latest version, I recommend refreshing the app’s data to help resolve common issues preventing your invoice from editing and saving properly.

Here's how:

  1. Open the app and go to the Menu.
  2. Tap the All option, then choose Intuit Account & Settings.
  3. Select Refresh Data.
  4. Hit Refresh Now to confirm.

If the issue persists, let's clear or offload the app’s data to refresh the application further and eliminate potential causes of duplicate customer name entries appearing when editing an invoice.

Here's how:

  1. Go to your device's settings.
  2. Find and tap the Apps option.
  3. Scroll through the list and select the app.
  4. Tap on Storage.
  5. Select Clear Data or Offload the app, depending on your mobile operating system.

Alternatively, you can uninstall and reinstall the mobile app to have a fresh installation of the QuickBooks software application with all the latest updates and bug fixes.

Feel free to check out this article to learn more about customising your invoices in the program. Please note that these customisation features are available through the browser version of QuickBooks Online: Customise invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks.

I’ll ensure this conversation remains open for any future updates and discussions.
