It seems like you're using an Android phone, Lisa-woolnough. It's still in the works for that specific operating system.
Once the Mileage tracking feature is introduced to Android, let's just ensure that your phone's location permissions are set to "Allow all the time" and set up "Allow" to physical activity permission.
I'll share the reference about tracking of mileage in QuickBooks Online for better guidance.
Feel free to drop a comment if you have more questions. We'd be happy to fill you in.
Is this feature available now?
It has been tracking mileage for a long time now on Android, but I can't get to the data unless the app happens to collecting mileage at the time.
Seems the mileage collection runs in background, and when it does I can manage trips. If it isn't running, then there is no way to start it.
I can trigger "enable location to record mileage" messages by turning the GPS off; but can't get to my trips when I need to. Very frustrating.
Hello F1Andy :waving_hand: Yes the feature is available, What product is it that you're using? you self-employed or using the online version? Thanks
It's Quickbooks Online.
I'm Admin, as the subscription is provided by my accountant (who is therefore Master Admin).
I am running on Android. I re-installed the app just in case - it is version 24.2.13.
(I use a Samsung S8+ with latest updates applied : Android 9 , Kernel 4.4.111-17264019)
Thanks
Andy
Hi F1Andy, Thanks for getting back to us, You would need to become the master admin. The accountant can still pay for the subscription without being the master admin, It will be the accountant who is able to transfer master admin rights to yourself.
..I asked Accountant to make the change..
Thank you.
