Hi usertreasurer9, thanks for posting on the Community. It's not possible to set the reporting default to classic view, this needs to be selected after running the report. We appreciate the new view may not be to everyone's preference, and we'd be grateful if you could submit feedback to our developers for further default options by selecting the Cog > Feedback in your account.
