Going from old software to qb should I start with a 0 balance or the current balance of the supplier
You can run the ending trial balance in your old program and use it as the beginning balance in QBO. You can purchase a 3rd party service to migrate those data if required.

Hello michelle-hamilto, Welcome, and thanks for posting on the Community page, It is great to hear you are moving from an old school software to us here at Quickbooks. It is entirely up to you which way you do it but if you want the information to follow on then opening balances is the best way.
