Hi there, thank you for your reply, previous to QB I was creating invoices using word, company I contract to do not send remittances or use an invoice relating reference number on their payments.. what with this and the cis problem (dormant utr).. I spoke to someone at web when I signed up, explained my issues and he said I could transfer everything to qb, including past years.. so I’ve retrospectively created all the invoices in QB and linked the bank account, I’ve gone through all 2023 transactions and now need to do 2022, then from August 2021.. but I’m struggling to find where the transaction are to qualify them..
Hello Mark-activedesign, so you would need to upload any old transactions you want via a csv file so you can then continue to do your books. here are some articles to have a look a and to help you, Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online and Format CSV files in Excel to get bank transactions into QuickBooks Online.
Hi, thank you for your reply, does QB only see transactions from my bank, for this current year then?
Hi mark-activedesig, this is dependent on the bank - some let you download the last 90 days of transactions when connecting the account, while others can go back as far as 24 months. :)
Ahh, okay, that makes sense, my bank took me to Jan 1, I assumed it was QB limiting me to 2023… not the bank, will check out the export process, thank you
