Hi All,
I have been trying to sort my taxes out and I am having an issue.
when I try to view my Tax report or download the breakdown it shows nothing even when I change the date to last years tax date. the P&L sheet is working fine and so is the dashboard.
Anyone know what i might be doing wrong and able to help please.
Thanks
I can show you some troubleshooting steps to get your tax reports in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE), @Mary1954.
First, let's identify the cause of this issue. Did you get an error? If yes, you can also share it here so we can verify it in our system and provide a resolution.
For now, I suggest using an incognito browser when downloading your tax reports. If it shows the data, you can go back to the regular browser and clear its cache. It will help you check if it's caused by the outdated data saved in your browser. You can also use another supported browser as an alternative.
Here are the shortcut keys to access private window:
I'd appreciate it if you can update me on how it goes. I'm here to back you up. Take care!
Thanks for the tips,
there are no errors come up just show £0 in off the boxes see attached, i also done this in cognito mode as well but no joy, the figures are ther as the dashboard shows them. I just can get them on any report now.
Thanks
Let's make sure that we'll be able to find out why the report isn't showing the data for the last year, steve-chambers.
Once you've entered the transactions in QuickBooks, it will always show the information when running the report. You'll just have to make sure to customize the date. Since you've already tried clearing the cache and accessing the report through incognito, I recommend contacting our support team to double-check your account. They can also pull your account in a more secure environment. To reach them, you can follow the steps below:
Furthermore, aside from running reports, you'll be able to get transactions by exporting them. To learn more about this, I've provided this article for your guide: Export Transactions and Get Reports in QuickBooks Self-Employed.
You can always visit us here if you have any questions about tax reports. As always, we're here to make sure we get you back on track. Stay safe!
