Your ac/ar reports will always default/display in the home currency. You could however run a customer/supplier balance detail report and select the small cog icon above the total column and include the forgein currency amounts. This will not give you totals however you can export the reprt to Excel and total the column.

Sorry, I was referring to the detail report as it is not possible to include the forgien amount in the summary report.

HI - our finance team is puzzled:
"This will not give you totals however you can export the report to Excel and total the column." - WHY? why would it NOT give the total? (thanks for sending me to google sheets - it is free!)

Allow me to step in and share some clarification about the report in QuickBooks Online.
Currently, the Customer Balance Detail report only shows the entire total for the Amount and Open Balance column (see screenshot below). Since Foreign Open Balance is a custom column, the ability to add another total is unavailable.
We recommend exporting the report to Excel and manually add the necessary information.
