Hello Zain-catonfry-co, thanks for posting on the Community page, you can do either a revaluation for the euros or a journal it is up to you if you're not sure what to do or how to do a journal, we advise you to reach out and speak to an accountant about this.

Hi Ashleigh,

When I clear the pound via a journal, the Euro becomes out by a small difference and vice versa.

Can you please explain the revaluation method?

Thanks

Hi zain-catonfry-co, thanks for getting back to us here. To do a currency revaluation:

1. Go to Settings > Currencies.
2. Find the Euro currency.
3. Under the Actions column, select the small arrow ▼ icon.
4. Select Revalue Currency.
5. Select a date (today or a day in the past) to run a currency revaluation.
6. Select whether you'd like the revaluation to be based on the market exchange rate or a rate you specify.
7. Select the account(s) you want to apply the revaluation to.
7. Select Revalue.
