Payroll Audit Report Customisation

Hi, I have been having trouble this morning customising an Audit report. I am seemingly unable to untick 'Expense reimbursements', 'Employer liabilities', and 'Pay run tasks' on both the Summary detail and Employee detail columns. When I untick these and Run report they simply reappear. This is the first time it has happened.

Any help would be appreciated.

Let me help you run the Pay Run Audit report with the correct data in QuickBooks Online (QBO), JordanJK.

To resolve it, we can try certain troubleshooting methods. In some cases, the browser becomes congested with frequently requested website resources, resulting in strange behavior when executing the payroll report in QBO. To begin, open your account in a separate or private browser. Here's a list of shortcut keys that you can use to get to one:
 

 

  • Ctrl+ Shift + N for Google Chrome RCV_0-1680755020407.png

 

  • Ctrl + Shift + P for Mozilla Firefox RCV_1-1680755020639.png

 

  •  and Microsoft Edge RCV_2-1680755020617.png

 

  • Command + Shift + N for Safari RCV_3-1680755020603.png

 

 

Then, run the Pay run Audit report again, and uncheck the Expense reimbursements, Employer liabilities, and Pay run tasks boxes. 

 

 

 

If it works, go back to your regular browser and clear its cache. This is done to speed up the process the next time you do a transaction in QuickBooks Online. Also, an alternative way is to use other compatible browsers.

Hi,

Thank you for responding so quickly!

Unfortunately these steps didn't help. I tried multiple browsers both normally and incognito but no luck.

I am accessing the reports through Employees tab > Pay runs > Select desired pay run > Reports > Audit Report.

We appreciate you for performing the steps I've provided to resolve this issue. I've checked our records and there's no reported case about this one. In this case, it would be best to contact our Payroll Support Team. They'll pull up your account in a secure environment and investigate what's causing this issue. Here's how:

 

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. Go to Help (?).
  3. Select the Payroll button below.
  4. Tap QuickBooks Standard Payroll Hub or QuickBooks Advanced Payroll Hub as required. The respective Self-help is displayed.
  5. If you want to contact support directly, type ‘Chat’ in the ‘Type Something’ field and use Enter.
  6. Hit Ask me a questionAsk the QuickBooks Community, or Contact a human.
  7. Select Live chat/Call me back.
  8. Enter your question, then select Continue.
  9. Choose a way to connect with us.
