What does it mean when stock 'quantity on PO' is negative? I have no Open POs because they have all been converted to Bills. I'm used to seeing 'Qty on Hand' as negative if I have made a big sale and sold more stock than I currently have, and so I need to place a new stock order. But I have not seen 'Qty on PO' as negative before and don't know what this means (attached screenshot) do I actually have 28 items on hand or does this -18 on PO affect that and why? I need to know my stock levels accurately so I can place new stock orders.
Any help would be greatly appreciated? Thank you in advance
Hello Adega, thanks for posting on the Community
The QTY ON PO column should show as zero when all PO's have been converted to a Bill. Do the 18 items relate to a single or multiple PO's?
Hi Georgina, thanks for your thoughts, 0 is what I was expecting too because I don't have any POs open at the moment. These negatives have only appeared recently and I don't know why or what they mean, I've only seen positive numbers there before when I have had a PO open ...
Hello Adega, can you ring the supportline on 0808 234 5337, so you can set up a screenshare with the agent and so this can be looked into more as it may need to be escalated higher for you, as it should show as 0 and not a negative number. The line is open mon to fri 8am to 7pm and is free from any UK landline or mobile.
