Let's customise the P&L report, @kaadblue. This way, you'll be able to separate your customers based on their groups.
There are variety of P&L reports available in QuickBooks Online (QBO). In case you're opening the Profit and Loss by Customer, it'll display all the list of your customers regardless if they're belong to a group or not. It'll provide your income, expenses, and net income by all your customers in a certain period.
Here's how to customise the P&L report separate your customers based on their groups.
- Go to the Reports menu.
- Select the type of Profit and Loss report you want to pull up in the Business overview section.
- Click the Customise button.
- Set the Report period and Accounting method in the General section.
- Go to the Filter section to select the group of customers and other details you want.
- Click Run report.
