Hello
I've been trying to remove an old credit card from quickbooks for ages and nothing I did worked, so in the end I unlinked the bank account entirely and just reconnected by work debit card. Unfortunately this seems to have deleted all of my reviewed transactions for the whole of 2023 to date! I didn't think this would happen as they were already reviewed and approved. Is there anyway to get this back or am I going to have to add all the previous transactions manually now?
Thanks
Hi xlbpb, when removing a bank account in QuickBooks Self-Employed, the associated transactions will also be removed. However, we can reinstate these as previously categorized meaning you won't have to re-do any work.
Please see and respond to the email sent today so that we can take some required account info to process the request for you. Thanks!
This has also happened to me, can I have some help reloading confirmed transactions please
Hello Jess96,
Let me clarify and assist you with retrieving the transactions that disappeared.
As mentioned by the previous agent, when a bank account is unlinked in QuickBooks Self-Employed, the confirmed transactions associated with that account are usually removed, as QuickBooks does not store data from unlinked accounts.
However, I recommend reaching out to our Live Support team for them to guide you on how to restore your categorized data as they have the specialized tools and resources to look into this further and provide real-time solutions tailored to your specific situation.
Here’s how to get in touch with them:
