Exactly. We are in US too and are experiencing the same issue.It is embarrassing to constantly ask clients if they have received our invoices and also try to re write a personal email since you have no access to an outbox other than a message that says bounced under the name on each invoice. It's mind boggling to me that a company as large as intuit have not fix this major issue long ago but I am sure if any user misses a payment they will be all over them. not professional at all since they are in the business of handling of client's finances and their business.

I’m in the UK. Last week I had to manually resend over 200 invoices as some hadn’t been received BUT there was no notification that they had been bounced. Over half had not previously been received and were overdue so my cash flow is affected! My suppliers still want paying on time and my clients don’t want to suddenly be hit with loads of overdue invoices I’m asking for expedited payment because they are ‘overdue’ and they’ve never received them! What’s more, now some of our purchase orders are suddenly not getting through! This is ridiculous!

We in the US have the same issue.

QB IDs are listed on several spam lists, when QB uses those particular IDs to send invoices/POs they will not go through. This issue is known since early spring but QB seems not to be able to fix it. This week's update - now its gonna be another month for an update !

 

Next update:

The next update regarding the issue 'QBO - Invoices are being shown as undelivered' has been scheduled for 8/15/2022. Alternatively you will be updated sooner if new information arises, a resolution if found or a fix is deployed in product.

Hello Community Users:waving_hand:,  Below is the current update sent out today regarding the fix for the delivery issues on invoices in Quickbooks Online.

 

We're currently implementing measures to fix this issue. Please know that this is a high priority for us and will continue to be a focus and priority until fully resolved.
Our team is aware of the matter and is in the process of implementing a fix that will solve this issue.

Workaround:

In the meantime, while the issue is being worked on by our engineering team please continue to use the below options, as a workaround: 

  • You can save your form as a PDF and send it via email through your business or other email address
  • (For invoices or estimates only) You can send your customer a link to their invoice or estimate through SMS or messenger service. Simply click on “save and share link” then select “copy link” and paste it into your SMS or messenger service.
  • If you have a Gmail or G-suite email account, you can use the Send with Gmail feature to send QBO forms from your own address following the steps in Use your Gmail address to send invoices (https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-uk/help-article/invoicing/use-gmail-address-send-invo...).
  • You can save your document as a PDF, print it, and send your customer their forms via mail

or

  • Customers -> select Invoices -> batch actions -> Print -> Save as PDF -> email from onw email service
  • Statement of open invoice -> Open Invoices report -> Print -> Save as PDF -> email from own email service

 

If you are experiencing difficulties implementing any of the proposed workarounds, please do not hesitate to reach out on this thread.

Hi Suzanne 1, apologies as I did not receive notification for your earlier post - our team are continuing to build a fix that will be implemented to resolve this issue, this is all the information that we're able to access at present. This problem has been going on since February - so many posts I can't keep count.  Works one day and the next you get a page full of delivery errors. 

 

You don't know which email failed the one to your customer or the copy you send yourself. 

 

Customers are not paying because they haven't received email and others have received multiple copies.  

 

Its unbelievable that a company as large as Intuit has not fixed this problem when it has been on going for 6 months. 

 

So many posts on this issue I can't keep track of them all yet still not fixed.

Thanks for joining this thread. I'm here to provide some updates regarding this invoice delivery issue in QuickBooks Online (QBO). 

 

Upon checking our database, the investigation (INV-71760) is still ongoing. I assure you that our Engineering Team is looking into it and is working to implement a permanent solution that can resolve this issue. Please know that this issue is a high priority for us and that it will remain until it's fully resolved. We'll be sending you an email update once it's fixed.

 

To get you in the loop on the latest updates on the issue, I encourage you to contact our Customer Care Team if you haven't already. This way, you'll be added to the list of affected users and will be notified via email once it's fixed.

 

In the meantime, I suggest following the workarounds shared by emmamiller6 in this thread.

 

In addition to this, you'll want to personalise the appearance by adding specific info to your sales forms in QBO. Check out this article for more information: Customise invoices, quotes, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online.

The permanent solution would be to use the clients email just as it has done for decades in the Desktop version.This has huge advantages such as a permanent locally stored copy or the invoice/PO/Statement which is sent, but IT ALSO ALLOWS THE CUSTOMER TO REPLY PROPERLY TO ANY EMAIL WHICH HAS BEEN SENT BY RETURN TO OUR OWN CORPORATE EMAILS!!!!!

The would eliminate the use of a third party's server, ie. Intuits own, floored, emailing servers. 

 

As EVERYONE knows QBO is a huge step backwards from QBD. Intuit can't even fix or address simple problem such as this, god help us going forward.

I honestly can't understand how some of the approach to QBO compared to the Desktop version. It's like Desktop has been developed by a team of actual software engineers, and QBO is being developed on a weekend by a team of undergraduates, using crayons.

This has been a chronic issue for several months with countless promises that the technical team is working on a fix. Every few weeks we receive an update with a new promise, the last was:

 

"The next update regarding the issue 'QBO UK - Customer’s invoice blocked, bounces back or getting rejected when being sent.' has been scheduled for 9/12/2022. Alternatively you will be updated sooner if new information arises, a resolution if found or a fix is deployed in product."

 

It's now the end of September and there is been no update, no communication, nothing. We will be switching to Sage as soon as possible.

Why has this not been fixed?!?!?

Hello Tangonovemeberbravo, thanks for commenting on this thread, so there is no update, however we e still continually working on this it is our priority to get it resolved for our customers. If you can do the workaround (Download Invoice as PDF and send manually from Email provider direct) until it gets resolves thanks.

Hi, I've been downloading invoices since about February, the problem as far as I'm aware started in January!

 

Come on! This is just not acceptable - get your email off the spam list, it can't be THAT hard to do! It's coming up to 10 months...

 

I'm patient but am losing it with this. Sort it out!

I'm starting to think that Intuit are basically lying. There is no way it takes this amount of time to fix something that previously wasn't broken.
Its absolute rubbish. If I was Intuit management I'd be sacking myself and handing off the whole QBO business to someone else to pick up the pieces.
 
Along with the Desktop to Online process. Intuit couldn't fix their problems so they handed it off to a third part MoveMyBooks.

 

Ashleigh, I really don't know how you manage to keep typing the same thing over and over again. Its maybe time that senior managers come on here and explain this to us customers as to why this hasn't been fixed and all the other issues which have been requested year atfer year after year are still being asked for, year after year after year.

 

It's NOT acceptable.

With all due respect Ashleigh, this is clearly not a priority for the technical team. There is no update even though I was promised an update several times over several months, the last being 12 Sep 2022. Why give dates for a fix when there is clearly no intention to fix this issue? Please ask your team to stop lying to us.

Ashliegh. The point is you have promissed dates that this will be fixed. These are missed without explination. This is not acceptable, plain and simple.

As I said in my previous posting, I think it's time senior management got involved in address us clients with this mess. Totally agreeves people when only this morning we receive emails about new features, which, as far as I can see is NOT worth the the code they are written on. If this is the priority then Intuit need to sort what is out ASAP.

 

THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE!

I don't understand how a team can be 'constantly' working on something and yet never resolving it?

 

Doesn't that suggest what they are doing is having no effect?

Thanks for responding Ashleigh, I understand this must be frustrating for you as well. Is there a way for customers to escalate this issue? We are beyond fed up with the standard, meaningless responses that you and the other front-line service reps are tasked with giving us. We don't want empty promises and imaginary dates that are never met.
