Can't Upload Receipts

New to QB Self Employed. I can no longer upload a receipt when creating a new expense. It allows me to select the file, says it's uploading but it never completes. It worked initially, but not any more.

I have cleared my cache and reset the app data, but still no good.

Any help would be appreciated.

Can't Upload Receipts

Welcome to the Community, @Darren1360.

I appreciate your effort in trying to resolve the issue when uploading a receipt and creating a new expense transaction in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

Before uploading a receipt, make sure that the receipt file you're trying to upload meets the file size and format requirements of QuickBooks Self-Employed. Supported file formats are typically JPEG, PNG, and PDF. If the file size is too large, you may need to compress or resize the image before uploading.

If everything is correct and still having the same issue, I recommend reaching our Customer Care team. They can access your account in a secure environment, isolate the problem, and assist you in resolving it.

Here's how to reach them:

  1. Log in to your QBSE account.
  2. Click the Assistant button at the top.
  3. Type Contact Support in the chat box.
  4. You'll now be provided with support options that are available at that time.

In the meantime, you may consider adding your transactions manually: Manually add transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed
