Can you send an invoice on the mobile app with CIS deductions on?

Welcome to the Intuit Community, darren6.

The functionality to create an invoice with CIS deductions is unavailable in the mobile app version at this time. When you enter one, the following message will display on the screen “You’ll need to use QuickBooks Online on the web to create CIS content”.

I suggest logging in to your QBO account using the browser and input the invoice from there. Here’s how:

  1. In your browser, enter this link: https://c14.qbo.intuit.com/.
  2. Once the company file opens, tap the New menu to select Invoice under Customers.
  3. This will take you to a page where you can input the transaction details.
  4. From the Customer drop-down, type in the appropriate name (CIS client) in the field box.
  5. Go to the Product/Service column to key in the item and then the amount in the Amount column.
  6. Fill in the remaining boxes.
  7. Click Save and close.

For an overview of the tasks you can perform using the mobile app, check out the links below:

Keep me posted if you need assistance while working in QBO. I'll be right here to help you. Have a great rest of the day.
