I use QBOA - for a number of clients I created a custom field that could be added to individual sales invoices and that could also be shown in the Customer / Transaction list. However over the last few weeks when I go to the cog to add this field back into the view you can no longer add the Custom Field. I used this field as a reference for each sales invoice as otherwise when you're viewing the list of sales invoices its pretty meaningless if you have mutliptle invoices per customer in a month. I've spoken to your online help they said I needed to feedback (which I've already done) but said they take their time to do an update. You've basically removed a feature that was already there so i would like this fixed - I've also contacted my account manager but no response either. Could you look into this issue for me and someone else solved this problem?

We appreciate the inconvenience that this change has caused for you and have forwarded this back to our product development team. As a workaround, depending on the information that you are trying to see, you may consider running a report. For example, custom fields can be added to the Customer Balance Detail report by selecting the small cog to the right of the report > show more > tick the custom field(s).
I don't feel that this is acceptable. You have a system where you can only use 2 fields in reports -when yo uare using QB all the time and want to review the information I have to run a report every time. I do not feel that my concern has been taken seriously and I would like some more feedback other than its been feedback - I have no idea and i worry that this has just gone into a pool and will never be seen again - you have taken some functionality away and this is detrimental to my working.
Hello KatL, we are sorry to hear you don’t accept this, but what Georgia has said to you is correct, All our customers feedback is passed onto the product development team, please don’t think that we don’t take on board what has been relayed to us as we say it all gets passed over. All requests go off demand if there is lots of request of feedback from customers the more likely it will come into the system as a feature in the further. We appreciate that the workaround may not be ideal but it is an option for you to consider so that you can view the information you need.
