I really appreciate your time and effort that you've performed all the troubleshooting steps provided by my colleagues. In QBSE, the feature to change or customize your invoice template is unavailable. Since you got the same thing, I suggest reaching out to our Phone Support agents again. They'll open a case for the issue that you're experiencing.
I also notified our engineers about your suggestion to be able to customize invoices so you can choose you're preferred font size and background color. They may apply it to future updates.
