I need Quickbooks Online (Timesheets module) to allow a minus value

We desperately need QB Timesheets to be able to show when a CREDIT and DEBIT of time has been applied. However, when we try to insert a minus value we get the error "invalid time duration".

Here's why we need to add a minus value.

We charge our clients up front for support. Lets say a client buys 10 hours. We use QB to record the time we have spent supporting them and use the timesheets to deplete the 10 hours pre-paid.

The problem is, the Timesheet report only shows the time spent by us. It doesnt show the credit of 10 units.

If we could add a MINUS value at the start of the month, our Timesheets could look like this:-

Balance 0

Timesheet entry 1 referring to topup -10 (to reflect that the client is now 10 hrs in credit)

timesheet entry 2 referring to work weve done -2

timesheet entry 3 referring to work weve done -2

The Report at the end of the month would then show 6 (which is their balance of units).

PLEASE CAN THE DEV TEAM CONSIDER ADDING THE OPTION TO INSERT A MINUS TIMESHEETS?? I DONT SEE WHY IT DOESNT DO THIS?

Time is transactional too, so if we can add a minus to an invoice, we should be able to add a minus to a timesheet?

With this, I'm going to direct you to a page where you can post feature suggestions. This allows our engineers to come up with a solution to enhance your overall experience. You can send your ideas to either your QuickBooks Online or Timesheet account. Simply follow the steps below.

Inside QuickBooks Online:

Go to the Gear icon on the upper right side.
Click Feedback under Profile.
Type your suggestion in the box and tap Next.

Timesheets:

Click the Help menu on the upper right side and select Suggest Idea.
Enter your Email in the field so you can receive an update about your feedback.
Type your suggestion in the box and click Send Idea.

Thanks for the reply, but I had already entered this as a suggested idea, MONTHS ago.

I have set up a VOTE page instead. Seems like I am not the only one who thinks this is a good idea. I have a few votes already!
