Need to o pause direct debits &recurring transactions inked to go cardless. If I pause each recurring transaction (or skip next date) will this auto stop dds via GC?

For you to be able, to stop the GoCardless direct debit linked to your QuickBooks Online. All you have to do just follow the steps below.

Here's how:

1. Login to your QuickBooks Online.
2. Click the Gear icon in the upper left corner.
3. From the options list, click the recurring transactions.
4. You will see all the recurring transactions, on the right side there is a drop-down arrow, click  and then choose Use.
5. You will routed to the invoice page in the center, and you will see the GoCardless radio button toggle it to turn off and it will stop the direct debits.
