PayPal: Discover a better way of getting paid - Save up to £100 on fees

Can you tell me why, when we offered this deal last year that Paypal only refunded us a part of the £100 fees they charged us? The only reason i linked it was to save the extortionate fees that Paypal charges. Of the £100 saving we got back £29.34.

Hello, briggsee.

Thanks for reaching out to us about PayPal charges. I'm here to help you get the right support you need concerning PayPal charges.

As much as I wanted to check your account, I'm unable to do it here since this is a public forum. We have a dedicated team who can discuss to you in details about the fees. I recommend contacting our Customer Care Support Team to review your account.

Here's how:

  1. Click the Help option in the upper-right corner.
  2. Go to the Search tab.
  3. Select Contact Us

Please let me know if you have any additional questions about fees. I'll be around to help.

PayPal: Discover a better way of getting paid - Save up to £100 on fees

So it turns out that Intuit colluded in a Paypal scam to get quickbooks users to use paypal as a way of getting invoices paid. The offer of the APP was advertised on 28 Sept 2020 and it seems in the small print lasted until 31 Oct 2020 ie one month. We signed up on 12 October and benefitted from one transaction. I am certain that the original offer was until the end of the year, I wouldn't have signed up for less than one month. Anyway, it seems disingenuous to me and has left a bad taste. I thought SAGE were sharks, which is why we departed from their software, it seems the same applies to Quickbooks. At least at Sage their support answered one's questions rather than the question they wanted to answer.
Don't bother replying, your platitudes are not worth opening my emails for
