Adding bank transactions from 2022 - 2023

I have spent 2 days trying to convert my bank statements to CVS files with no luck, spoken to 3 agents who have all been unable to resolve the problem, even had one agent convert all the files for me a few months ago but the link she sent me to access them didn't work. Haven't been able to speak to another agent willing to do the same again for me. Great for next years self assessment but useless for the one im currently doing. Realised now that im going to have to go back to my original account method for this year which is frustrating. Anyone else have this issue?

Try to use one of the converter tools (e.g csv2qbo @ $60 one time license)

Adding bank transactions from 2022 - 2023

Hi there, @Lauren Val.

I know your past interactions with our support were difficult, but I want you to know I will work with you to find a resolution.

Currently, we don't have the option to convert a PDF bank statement to CSV. However, you can explore our QuickBooks App center to see if there are any third-party apps that provide the feature you're looking for.

Before you upload the file, take a moment to open it and give it a thorough review. Here's an article that will guide you to check the correct format. I'd like to inform you the article is intended for QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Online Solepreneur but the 3-column format is applicable for QuickBooks Self-Employed: Format CSV files in Excel to get bank transactions into QuickBooks.

Once your file is properly formatted, you can easily upload it into QuickBooks Self-Employed: Add older transactions to QuickBooks Self-Employed.

Keep us posted if the issue remains or if there are other concerns. I'm always around to help!
