Can we view the summary of bank receipts/ payments for a specified period

Hello Mikesmith1

Is this for QuickBooks Online? If so you can run a transaction detail by account report and then hit on customise in the top right and then in the filter section select the transaction type/account you want to view theses for and then amend the date range for what you want or you can run a report from the chart of accounts if you click to the right of account history on the drop down arrow there is a run report option and then you can also filter the report by transaction type in the filter

If this is not the product you are using lor these options do not bring the information that you need let us know

Thanks

Emma

How can I view summaries in each of the income/expenditure categories I have set up and am using in QB online?

Also how can I view these summaries for a specific time period?

Can we view the summary of bank receipts/ payments for a specified period

Hello MarianFixler!

I can help in getting the summary of the income and expenditure categories.

You'll need to run the Profit and Loss report. This will show you the income, expenses (expenditure), and net income. We can also filter this report into a specific period.

Follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Reports menu. Search and select Profit and Loss.
  2. From the header section, change the Report period and other filters such as the Accounting method.
  3. Tap Run report.

Also, I added these links to see all available reports and how to customise them in QuickBooks Online:

Shoot me a reply if you need more help in running reports. Take care!
