Hello Ollie, Thanks for clarifying, I would say if you could check whether you have used the category meals and entertainment as they will go into disallowable. If you use the category advertising and website it should show as allowable. We have our own categories explanations for QBSE see here If the lunches are allowable expenses it would be a case of not using meals and entertainment you could, for example, use the travel expenses category. Any Q's let us know.
Hello Olliechallis,
Welcome to the Community page,
What expense type of expense are you referring to, for example is it car/van expanse. Could you provide us with more information so we can help you.
Hi,
Thanks for getting back to me. I have marked the transactions as "Advertising and Website." The transactions are monthly from Squarespace for my online portfolio there is no products for sale or anything its purely a collection of images I have worked on. I was also led to believe that some lunches when im out on a shoot on location are expendable as well but I can't see a way to tell quickbooks these lunches where allowed.
Thanks in advance
