I'm using Quickbooks self employed
All of my paypal transactions are imported, but at the moment I have to review each individual transaction.
I can't see how to set up a rule so that all my imported paypal transactions are automatically shown as business income
Hello Tuffpro,
Welcome to the Community page,
When you are logged into your account go to the cogwheel top right-hand side> under transactions you will see rules click on rules>click on create rule top right> a pop-up box will show, fill in all the information and save.
Got it
I had select the paypal account and add a blank space in the description, untick "match exactly"
Cheers
Paul
No problem at all Paul, glad you are all sorted now.
Have a good day.
I have just seen that this has not worked.
All my paypal transaction are show in quickbooks under each customers name.
The paypal account is shown as [email address removed].
So the problem I'm having is that I can't create a rule so that all of my payments from account [email address removed] are automatically shown as business income
To create a rule i have to have add text in the Description field, which would be each customers name.
There is no option to to automatically show all payments from account [email address removed] as business income
