I have done what the link said but I still don't see a way of getting the photo receipts from my phone to my desk top. They don't upload automatically so how do I get them on to my desk top?
Thanks for getting back to us, @wenden-newquay-h. I’ll provide you with the steps to upload receipts into QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).
For a detailed step-by-step process of uploading receipts to QuickBooks Desktop Pro Plus, Premier Plus or Enterprise. You can check out this article: Upload receipts to QuickBooks Desktop Pro Plus, Premier Plus or Enterprise.
Let me know in the comments if you have further questions with receipts. I’m just one post away from assisting you. Have a great day!
I have asked this question many times now, and I keep getting the same answer. You tell me how to get the receipt onto my phone, which I already know how to do, but your not telling me how to get it from my phone to my desk top. It doesn't go automatically, so what do I do after I've pressed Done.
Hi there, wenden-newquay-h.
Can you tell us what version or QuickBooks you're using? Do you have QuickBooks Online or QuickBooks Desktop? I'm asking these questions because the steps for uploading receipts are different for each version of QuickBooks. We're just want to make sure that we're giving you the right steps to help with your question.
Please add a reply below to share more details. We look forward to it.
Hi how would I find which QB I'm using, my accountant set it all up for me so I'm sure what version I'm using
Hi there, wenden-newquay-h.
Do you log in to your account using a web browser or through this link: https://quickbooks.intuit.com? If so, it means you're using QuickBooks Online. The program also looks like this:
If you log in to your company file through an application that's installed in your computer, it means you have QuickBooks Desktop.

Hi I logon using the first option
Thanks for getting back to this thread and adding a clarification, @wenden-newquay-h.
Since your view is similar to the first option, that means you're using the QuickBooks Online Web version on your Desktop computer.
Once you upload receipts through your mobile devices, this should automatically sync in the web version. That means you're able to view them when opening QuickBooks using a browser.
Please know that they won't automatically be saved on your computer hard drive. That's why they won't show up on your Desktop storage.
As a workaround, you can email these receipts as attachments and send them to yourself. Then, open your email on your computer and download them from there. This way, you can save them on your hard drive.
Moreover, you can email your receipt or bill to QuickBooks Online. We’ll extract info from it and create a transaction for you to review.
In case you're referring to something else, feel free to add them up on this thread. I'll be happy to assist you further.
