Hello

Welcome to the Community

We just need to ask a few questions to determine why this is happening.

What bank is this with? The transaction that pulled through was this a historical transaction?Do you get any error message when you hit on update?

Thanks

Hi

We are banking with HSBC. The transaction that pulled through was something that happened yesterday but when i hit update nothing new comes through (there should be transactions from today) and also the amount showing in the bank account is incorrect. When i hit update there is no error message it just tells me its all updated but obviously it hasn't. Any help would be appreciated.

Hello mpengineering1,

Were you expecting the last 90 days of transactions to pull through, or were you just wanting transactions going forward from yesterday?

Thanks,

Talia

Hi Lisa,

Don't worry nothing has been done incorrecty, when first setting up the initial banking connection this will give the option of importing the last 90 days but this is the only time you will the ability to upload historic transactions to 90 days. Depending on the option chosen results in what is provided from the bank and by looks of things it must have not had an option selected and brought through yesterdays transactions (at the time of importing). Now with most connections anything pending or on the day of transactions occurring won't be imported to the banking review section until the following day or when they have cleared as pending items.

We can help fill the gap of the missing transactions with the use of a CSV file from your bank or manually creating a CSV spreadsheet to import the transactions missing and this can even be for over 90 days. If you are able to obtain or create a CSV file you can then upload this through the file upload option on the banking page. One other option could be disconnecting the account and reconnecting but this will then only give the option of up to the last 90 days when initially connecting and the CSV file may be a better fit.

Please let me know if this helps with resolving the missing transactions or if you need any further help.

Excellent thank you very much for your help. I will give the CSV file option a try and fingers crossed that works.

Thanks again.
