There are only certain data that can be switched over when you move from QuickBooks Self-Employed to QuickBooks Sole Trader, johnbig10.
Please note that once you upgrade to Sole Trader, you will no longer be able to access your QuickBooks Self-Employed account, and some data, such as invoices, cannot be transferred automatically.

QuickBooks is phasing out the old Self-Employed app. Most data like transactions, clients, receipts, and mileage can be moved to QuickBooks Solopreneur or QuickBooks Online. Download your reports first, as you won’t be able to switch back after migrating.
