I try importing my most recent transaction history in CSV and I get told the transactions are already there, but on inspection they aren't.

On my quickbooks account I only have information from August 2018 to January 2019, I can't access anything else but when I try to upload my most recent transaction history, I'm told the details are already there. Is there anything I can do? Very tempted at this point to uninstall and cancel account and just complete by hand.

Hello, Hazellnut90. I wouldn't like you to feel that way.

We can import your recent transactions via browsers. You can use any of the supported browsers below:

  • Google
  • Mozilla
  • Internet Explorer
  • Safari and make sure to use the latest one.

You can go to this link to log in to your QuickBooks account.

If the same thing happens, please give us a call. Getting in touch with our specialist can help you further to investigate why this happens. To contact them, you can follow the steps below:

  1. At the upper right corner, click the Help icon to see the Contact us button.
  2. Then, hit the Contact us button at the bottom part.
  3. Add a short description of your concern by entering it inside the What can we help you with? box something like " import transactions".
  4. Click the Let's talk button (green one).
  5. Select Get a callback to talk yo our specialist.

Let me know how importing via browser works or how the call goes. Also, you can mention me anytime you need help with QuickBooks Self-employed.Take care.

Hi,

Sorry for late reply, I've had medical problems since new years.

The help icon doesn't provide a contact us button, I just get redirected here

I can't import the transactions via my browser, I tried using my online banking to download the data but it can only be provided in PDF. This wouldn't be an issue if quickbooks had actually done what it's supposed to and record my bank transactions.

Please let me know how to talk to someone on the phone. I feel this is the only way this will be resolved.

Hello Hazellnut90,

I hope you are well and recovering. Unfortunately there is no direct contact line for QuickBooks Self-Employed however we can help you import the file here.

The file will need to be saved in a CSV. format in order to import into QuickBooks, most banks offer this file type however if yours does not try searching for an online converter - there are many free converters which will convert the PDF document into CSV. The CSV file will then need to be mapped following our guide here

When did the online bank last update and do you receive an error code or message when attempting to do this?

Thanks
