Hello there, @andy117.
Thank you for raising this concern in the Community. I'm here to give you the information regarding this matter to ensure we can straighten out the situation.
We can review the Audit Log in your QuickBooks. The following activity changes will be recorded in the Audit Log report:
Please note that the events recorded in the Audit Log are available for two years.

Thank you for your reply. The user who changed our settings is called System Administration.
I asked one of your experts in a live chat who this user could be and he said it could only have been me and I shouldn't make a deal about it.
I know it wasn't me and I have checked with my accountant and it wasn't him. I just want to know please whether this is normal, or has my account been compromised?
Hello andy117!
Thanks for the reply. I know that you want to keep your data safe. Let me help you.
You'll see "System Administration" if there's an update made automatically by QuickBooks Online. For example, there's an update with your bank feeds, or the system processed the transaction from your recurring transactions.
You'll want to check the audit log. From there, you can review what was the changes all about.
In addition, you can review your business info to make sure that everything is accurate.
Lastly, you can check this article: Change your email, user ID, or password. This will explain how to update your login credentials if you need to.
Post again here if you need more assistance. Take care!
