Scanning transactions in QBO only works for expense receipts. To add and track your sales in QBO, they must be added manually or imported into the program.
While we don't have a direct tool to upload transactions in QuickBooks from third-party sources, try looking for a compatible importing app to do the work for you. Visit our Intuit Marketplace site to see a number of applications that work best with our program: QuickBooks Apps
To manually create them, click the New (+) icon on the left toolbar, then select Invoice.
Having the option to automate invoice creation in QBO through scanning and capture is a handy feature. We'd love this idea to be available in the program. I'm personally sharing this request to our developers, who rolls out new features and updates in QuickBooks.
