I'm joining this thread so I can share more details about banking, Mike741.
It's great that you're able to connect it to the correct Paypal account. The best thing we can do to get those missing transactions is to manually import them. You can log in to your Paypal account to get a webconnect file.
This file contains the transactions for a period of time. Once you have it, you can upload it to your QuickBooks Online account. You can follow these steps:
Once done, you can add or categorise them. I've added these articles for more detailed steps:

Guys ....
I'm using this thread to document the appalling lack of support for QBO for the variety issues that I am experiencing with Quickbooks such as the 10 minutes wasted again this morning looking for a missing transaction that Paypal failed to import. Would it not be better for each user to create their own thread ?
As an example of the continuing appalling support yesterday I got an email telling me that my ticket was going to be closed. When I replied to ask why, the email address that it was sent from replied with a bounceback message.
Given that this is a VERY live issue which has seen NO progress in FOUR MONTHS, I'd love to know why this being closed. It looks to me more like a way of reducing ticket numbers to meet some arbritary target. This is not the first time that it's been closed either ....
So, having been away on holiday I was dreading returning and then having to bring my QBO and Paypal accounts back up to date.
Whilst I've been away I see that the QBO interface has been redesigned making the font larger so the table rows now wrap on my laptop which means that I've got to scroll twice as much. An additional "feature" is now that I have duplicate VAT rates showing and the dropdown to select the VAT rate for each transaction now takes typically 4 seconds to appear when it used to be instant. And that's on an AMD Ryzen 9 3900 with 32 GB of RAM so it's NOT a slow computer.
Surely if QBO are tinkering with the interface they must have fixed the major Paypal integrationbugs that I've been reporting since February ?
No ..... instead they've faffed around with the interface making it less usable whilst introducing more issues.
And talking of issues ... my QBO took a holiday over the August Bank Holiday weekend here in the UK failing to import 22 transaction (not fee transactions, but full customer transactions) on the 29th, 34 on the 30th and 40 on the 31st. This is on top of the hundreds of missing Paypal transactions that I have manually create every week.
And todays issue ? Yep, it's Paypal again.
This time, despite going through the 90 day process to reconnect my account and being told by QBO that's been successful, it's just not connecting.
I have never used a more useless piece of software and have never interacted with a more uninterested, pointless, waste of time support team either.
Today is the last straw, I am now actively looking at alternatives to QBO as I simply can't afford to continue to waste my time working round all these issues, issues that QBO clearly have no desire or interest in fixing.
Hi FrustratedFromWales,
Thanks for getting back to us here, it's not great to see you're thinking of switching providers and I'd like to take a look at those issues which you're continuing to see.
Can I confirm which screen you're referring to for the change in interface and which browser you're using to access QuickBooks?
Depending on your monitor size, you may need to scroll to see all of the information, however, you can take a look at your computer screen resolution settings and increase this to allow you to see more data - QBO requires a resolution of 1024x768 or higher and the Dots-per-inch (DPI) set to "Normal" or "100%". You can also try pressing Ctrl + minus (-) together to minimise the screen to increase your view.
For the missing period of transactions, these will need to be entered manually or via CSV. I've checked your current connection and can see there was a successful refresh today at 10:07:38, can I check if this update downloaded all of your transactions to date?

Ooh, this sounds promising ... someone in support interested in the ongoing (and new problems) that I'm having using their product. Could this be a break through moment ?

Absolutely no interest in why over a hundred transactions are missing, just the same old workaround. Do it manually and spend hours doing it.
For the record (and to answer your question): no, it has not downloaded ALL of the transactions. It didn't attempt to download the hundred or so that I did manually but then it's also completely failed to import any from September 9th despite multiple 'Updates' so I'll be recreating those MANUALLY too.
And that is why I'm going to use another product. Because support are completely disinterested in fixing a product that doesn't work but are happy to tinker with the interface .....
