Hello
I ran my payroll on Friday (19th February) - only 3 employees and all 3 received a payslip. The information in the Payroll tab is correct.
However, one of the employees pay has not shown up in either the current bank account or the chart of accounts. The other 2 employees are there in the correct place.
I have searched and it hasn't been posted in the wrong place either.
Does anyone know what I can do to rectify this?

Can we ask which payroll you are using in Quickbooks, is it standard or advanced?
The way to tell is when you click on payroll tab if you get two other tabs showing saying payroll and employees then it is standard payroll
if you click on payroll and it loads the payroll page with other tabs showing like payroll settings then that is advanced payroll.
Sorry I should have mentioned that.
I have the standard version of the Payroll.

No - everything is the same as previous pay runs.
If you click on the employee in the employees tab - you can see that the payslip and all the information is there.

Yes I have already checked that - 2 employees showing and the other one isn't.

Ok thanks for checking that Kelly, could you please rollback that payroll and re do it and see if it then shows all 3 employees for you or if you still have the same issue and let us know how you get on.
How would I do this? Do I just need to delete the payroll in the actions tab and run again?

so click on payroll, go down to payroll history click on the latest one> actions>delete. just make a note of the amounts and that. then once delete then re run the payroll like you would.
Let us know what the account come is.

I deleted the pay run and did it again and it made everything worse!
There are now none of the employees payments showing in either the current account (bank) balance or the wages control account in the chart of accounts.

Hello KFSCIT, thanks for trying that and that doesn't sound good at all, I would suggest you ring the support line on 0808 234 5337, and then you will be able to set up a screen share with the agent and they can have a look at what is going on and why it is not showing the payments for you in the bank or chart of accounts and if it needs to be raised up to the engineers then they will do this on the call with you.
