Hi,
I'm a relatively new QBSE customer in the UK after 13 years of self-employment, so I'm working through migrating my various invoicing and financial recording processes.
It's been smooth and straightforward, but I was wondering – is there a way to send an invoice to multiple email addresses?
For one of my clients, I email the invoice to one person and then CC in another, but I can't find a way to replicate this in QBSE.
I've spotted a suitable workaround to allow me to still record the invoice in QBSE but manually send it to the two people concerned, but if there's a way to automate this as part of the invoicing procedure that would be brilliant.
Thanks,
Gareth

Hello Gareth_Davis,
Welcome to the Community page,
It is not possible to do this in a QBSE account, but we will take this as feedback and pass it on to our developers for you.

Thank you for the quick response. I do think this would be a useful system to have, either to send to multiple addresses or to have CC/BCC functionality. Hopefully it will be added as a feature in the future.
We need that now. Xero has it and all other software I've use previous to QBO.
More often than not, you send hte invoice to accounting and your contact at the company.
Can't believe it's not there yet.
Hi OlivierLambert, we appreciate what you are saying ands have passed this on as feedback to the team.
I have same issue and need to send invoice to two people in one company currently i have to send to myself then forward to the individuals
Joining you here to offer my help and answer your question about emailing invoices, simon.
A new feature was recently added that would let you CC or BCC the other email address when sending out transactions from QBSE. I'd be glad to share the details on how you can do it:

What we need is the ability to add someone in the company settings, so that all future invoices include the person added in the CC permanently. Just like in Xero and all the other tools I've used.
We know we can add a CC to an invoice, but it's done manually. We are in a world of automation and AI. Take the step to allow us to live our lives without having to suffer through adding people to the CC all the time and losing sleep over it.
I appreciate you joining the thread, Olivier. I'll gladly share information about adding a person in the CC area automatically and permanently in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE).
The option to add CC in the invoice automatically is currently unavailable. We're only allowed to add this manually, as you've stated. With that, I recommend sending feedback to our product development team so they can add this feature in the future enhancement of QBSE to help improve your experience. Also, know that you're opinion or suggestions are highly appreciated.
Here's how:

I agree, we shouldn't have to remember to CC someone as so many things are automated now. I just ran across a situation where the customer had to email me to remind me she asked to have their invoices sent to another individual along with herself. In QB desktop I had multiple addresses available and I have to remember to add people to the list every time I email invoices out. It is just a very small feature that is very much needed here.
Really? This can't be done? This seems like such a simple tweak. Nuts.
Bryan
How in the world isn't this a feature in 2024? I'm dumbfounded. It shouldn't even be called a feature, it should be part of the basics.
I found a workaround.
If you use a comma in between email in the email box, it will send to both emails.
