When I am using the Self-Employed app, I see different categories and more choices. Then when I go onto the self-employed Quick books website. For example, I can see Travel as an option using the app but that category does not exist when I log into my account on the website, does any one know why this is happening?
Let me guide you on how you can view the list of categories in QuickBooks Self-employed, KellyTips.
You'll have to select the type of transaction for your categories to show up in all the category lists. I've added a screenshot for reference. Also, please know that the screenshots provided may be in the US version, however, they work just the same way as the UK version:
Once you've selected the type, you can click the category so you'll be able to view the list. I've highlighted the category in yellow.

I can not see any screenshots
I have seen your screenshot now and replicated this on my web browser QB account - and I only see the categories shown in my screenshot attached. I see more category options when I review and approve unreviewed transactions in the app
Thanks for getting back here, @KellyTips.
To start, we can manually search for the specific category when classifying the unreviewed transactions. Please refer to the screenshot below:

If you're unable to see the specific category, we can perform some troubleshooting steps to determine if this is a browser issue. Let's begin by accessing your QBSE account via an incognito browser to have a clean slate. Below are the shortcut keys you can use:
Once signed in, categorise the unreviewed transaction again and check the categories. If this works, go back to your regular browser and clear the cache to eliminate the piled-up data. If not, you can use another supported browser or device.
If you still encounter the same thing, I recommend reaching out to our phone support team to further investigate the root cause of the issue. They use specific tools to pull up your account and check the set up.
I'll be always here ready to lend a hand if you have any other concerns categorising your transactions in QuickBooks. Have a good one and stay safe.
