Thank you for reaching out in the QuickBooks Community, @gazzawu.
Sometimes local internet cache files stored in the system can cause unexpected behavior in the product. This can be the reason why the amount in your transaction reverts to zero after adding a photo.
Let me share with you some basic troubleshooting steps that will help you fix this right away.
First, access your account in a private window. This mode doesn't record any activity on your local device. This will also help us check if the issue is cache-related. Here's how:
If you're able to add the attachment without returning the amount zero, go back to your regular browser and clear its cache. Or else, use another supported browser. This might be a temporary issue with QuickBooks and the current browser you use.
Additionally, you can run the Transaction List by Date report in QuickBooks Online. This will show you the all money you have paid to a supplier for the year.
Just tag my name in the comment section if you have any other concerns or questions. I'll get back to you as soon as I can. Stay safe.
Hello,
Thank you for your answer. I forgot to mention that all the problems seem to be with the mobile app. The desktop version is fine.
I appreciate the additional details you've shared, @gazzawu.
Let's refresh your mobile app's data. This way we can remove any stored data that may have caused the unexpected behavior when adding a photo to your expense transactions. I've added a screenshot as your reference.
Once completed, uninstall the app and restart your mobile device. This completely remove traces of the app in your device. Now, you can start a new slate and reinstall the app. You can read through these articles for more detailed steps:
