Unable to download all transactions

Thank you for joining the thread, @limdaherbst. I'll take care of this query about your transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

The amount of data depends on your bank. QBSE typically downloads transactions for the previous 30 to 90 days, and in some cases, up to a year. Since you need the older transactions, it’s a two-step process to add transactions older than QuickBooks originally downloaded. You’ll need to use your laptop or desktop to export the transactions from your bank and then import them into QuickBooks.

Here's how to export data from your bank:

  1. Go to your bank's website and sign in.
  2. Choose the account with the data you want to export.
  3. Look for a button, link, or other info that describes downloading or exporting your data.
  4. Set the date range you want, and be sure to specify CSV as the file format.
  5. Follow any remaining instructions to finish exporting your data.

From there, you can now import the transactions into your QBSE account.

Here’s how:

  1. Open QuickBooks Self-Employed in a web browser.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Select Imports.
  4. Select Import older transactions for the account you want to add transactions to.
  5. Select Browse and find the file you downloaded from your bank. It's usually in your Downloads folder.
  6. Select the file and select Open to start the import.
  7. Review the column headers and data.
  8. Select Continue to complete the import.

Also, you might want to check the mapping of your transactions before importing them. This is to ensure accurate tracking of data in your QBSE account.

Here’s an article you can refer for more details about adding older transactions to QBSE.

I'll be around if you need further assistance with managing your transactions in QBSE. I'm very eager to help. Take care!
