We sent a refund to a customer and included the word 'Refund' in his Refund Receipt Number box. Now whenever we create a new invoice, the Invoice Number box always has the word Refund at the end.
Hello HM-Bookkeeper-UK, thanks for posting on the Community page, if you take out the refund part, enter in the information details save and close when you open a new invoice the word refund should not be there anymore. You may need to do it a double of times.
