Why has Quickbooks changed the title of the pdf attachments for remittance advices from Remittance_Advice... to BILL_CHECK...?
Makes NO SENSE to a UK audience.
Hi AJL24 We are aware that Bill_Check is now showing rather than Remittance_Advice for some customers. We're waiting to hear back from our engineers to establish if this is an intentional update.
Thank you John for your reply. Please can this update be cancelled - having pdf remittances being titled with 'BILL_CHECK...' is making me seriously consider leaving QB :( and if your UK customer base feels the same you will have a mass-exodus of QB customers..
I can see the importance of the remittance being labeled as Remittance_Advice, AJL24.
At the moment, canceling the update isn't possible. Since it impacts your experience and business operations, you can send a request to let our product team know how this is useful for your business. To do so, follow the steps outlined below:
This goes to our Product Development team to help improve your experience in QuickBooks Online. You can track feature requests through the QuickBooks Online Feature Requests website.
Furthermore, QuickBooks provides several reports that cater to your business needs. You'll only have to customise them to ensure you'll get the data you need. Customise Reports in QuickBooks Online.
You can always let us know if you have any other concerns about remittance advice updates. We're here to get you covered.
Why is it not possible to cancel an update that is detrimental to your UK customer base?
In the UK, the word 'CHECK' means the following "examine (something) in order to determine its accuracy, quality, or condition, or to detect the presence of something."
It does not convey the idea of payment, we use the spelling'CHEQUE' for this so to your UK customer base the wording 'BILL_CHECK' is not just confusing it is totally missleading.
Are your UK customers not important and valuable to you?
Hi AJL24 All our customers are vitally important to us. We appreciate the updated wording originates from the American language and contrary to the English meaning. We 'have submitted your feedback to our developers and hopefully in the future they will implement an update to change the wording.
